Having studied at Goldsmiths College, Dionne continues to develop her own creativity whilst encouraging others to discover and embrace their textile direction. Specialising in the alluring qualities of devoré (burn out), Dionne exhibits internationally, lectures at degree level and holds inspirational workshops at her studio in Yorkshire.

The Course

Explore design, dyes and devoré using painting, printing and vat-dyeing techniques. Discovered in 17th-century France, devoré creates a textured surface, often on velvet. This is your opportunity to create your own luscious scarf/wrap/wall hanging. Catering for all levels of ability, Dionne will help you realise your design ideas on an enjoyable journey of discovery.
